More Summer Reads

I forgot that I finished this one this week too! It was very funny and a great way to do some traveling from the comfort of my own backyard!

Rumors of Another World/What on Earth Are We Missing? BY Philip Yancy is the book I am currently reading. I love Philip Yancy and have never been disappointed with any of his books. His insight into the "Whys?" of this life are very thought provoking.

Happy 1st Day of Summer!

It seems like summer started in April to me. Probably has something to do with the three weeks we spent in Hawaii... I feel like I've already had a great summer! But, I am so glad it is really just beginning. I have so much I'd still like to do. Like blog faithfully, scrap lots, and spend time with my grandsons (That's Ian on the horse). How about you? What do you look forward to doing this summer?

One thing I do a lot of in the summer is read. I got off to a great start by reading five books while on vacation in you know where. And just yesterday I read another book! If you have any "must read" faves I'd love to hear them. Here is a recap of the books I've read so far:

You may remember that I posted this picture of my parents on their honeymoon and the journaling for #15 while I was in Hawaii. Well, I've finally finished the card. The little picture at the bottom is the last picture I have of me with the two of them. It was taken at Christmas in 1999.
