Welcome Happy Homemakers! Let the fun begin!
Yeah! I managed to pick my Happy Homemaker Tag Swap theme, Material Girl, and finish my first tag on schedule :) I chose Material Girl for my theme because I love Cosmo Cricket and I love using sewing supplies for embellishments.
The banner on the clothesline reads, "2011," and the words in the grass say, "Fresh Hope," because that's how I feel about the New Year. It's fresh and full of hope! This year I'm hoping to make some new friends as we share this tag along journey. How about you, what are you hoping for?
Hugs,
:Debbie

That is such a cute tag!!! I am stamping challenged! Stamps terrify me. I always get ink where it shouldn't be and get things crooked!
Debbie! What a tag! I have learned about seven new ideas just in this one tag! Turn it sideways! Who would have thought! Grass! Flowers! Stitching! Stamping! Cuteness beyond belief! You have absolutely made my day with your creativity. Thank you so much for participating, and I already can't wait for February! Elizabeth
Each tag I look at I get more excited and inspired. I love all your techniques you used and the symbolism and your explanation of all of it. Thanks for sharing...I love this tag! xoxo Nancy
I adore this the stamp is wonderful. Just inspiring. I love the fresh hope because each new year is like a rebirth so my hope for this new year...learning lessons from others.
What a darling tag! It's amazing to me how everyone comes up with such a different theme. I think it's time for me to stop looking and pondering and get busy! Thanks for the inspiration!
It looks like everyone has used all the words to describe your tag already. It is absolutely darling. Your use of the stamp on a pattern paper seems so simple yet I never thought to be so bright? I used these same snaps recently as earrings on a tag and they worked great. Love again how creative you got. Thanks for the ideas!
Ha! You know what they say, My Vintage Mending, "there's nothing new under the sun," so I'm not surprised you used snaps on a tag too! But, I am surprised that I'm seeing so many ideas that are new to me in this tag along!
i just love your theme im a big fan of cosmo cricket as well great work

VERY cute! Love the stitching!!
This is just the cutest tag...what an adorable stamp! I love the stitched banner and the grass and well, everything! Yes, let's hope!
So far there are 3 of us using Material Girl and of course our tags look nothing alike. I really like how you got so much on yours, I thought it must be much larger but it's not, very clever use of space there and going in the other direction too, good idea.
Cute, cute, cute!! I love that paper. I wish I could find it here!
Oh so cute and I love you using the snaps? as an embellishment--i may have to "steal" that idea!!!
I love Material Girl from Cosmo Cricket. This was one of the lines I had contemplated using. I'm what you would call a "hack" sew-er. But I do love the thought of calling myself a sew-er. Your tag is simply pleasing to the eye. I've barely gotten through the blogs this morning and am anticipating next months tags. So much talent to feast my eyes upon.
Fresh Hope indeed! Something we can all use each new year. What a darling tag.
This is adorable...I love the paper and that stamp is too cute. I love how your tag came out!
I love the sideways arrangement and the little banner...you have excellent stamping technique. I would love to be able to get such good results! Can't wait to see next month's tag.
I love your tag! Fresh Hope sounds perfect.
UMM Debbie,
I LOVE THIS!
Great minds think a like.
I am a sewing freak, although I have not sewn for quite some time, I simply adore it. Cosmo Cricket is a new paper line to me, don't ya think I was thrilled to see all the pattern images. I did not find any embellishments to go with it, but I will make it work. Your tag is scrumptious. I am glad to have met you.
I LOVE the little banner on your tag...so cute! This will be great fun won't it?!
oh how CUTE! i love how you turned it on the side ... so smart ... it gives you so much more room! she is so adorable! i love your banner, the clothespin, and the snaps ... and just everything! i can't wait to see your next one!
